How do I charge my Impact?Updated 5 months ago
The Impact’s battery lasts up to 3 hours, allowing you to complete multiple sessions of Shardfall on a single charge. We recommend charging the Impact between sessions to ensure you always have enough power for your session.
Charging your Impact
Connect the charging dock to a power supply. For best results, use a USB charger rated 1.5 A or higher. Lower-powered chargers will charge the Impact more slowly.
Place both controllers and the chest unit onto the charging dock, ensuring they fit comfortably without forcing the units into place.
If the units were turned on when you docked them, the light will change color to indicate the controller's charge level. They’ll units will stay on when the Launcher is active but shut off after 10 seconds when it’s not. Simply double-tap a unit to quickly check its charge level.
Charging Lights
Charging: A white light indicates the Impact unit is charging
Fully charged: A green light indicates the Impact unit is fully charged.
Low Battery
Low battery: A slowly flashing yellow light indicates it’s time to charge your Impact. This light comes on when the battery is below 15%. At 0%, the device will shut down to preserve the battery life.
Critical battery: A flashing yellow light when you turn the unit on indicates a critical battery level. This happens when the battery runs down to 0% and the unit shuts down. Make sure you charge the unit before trying to use it again.

First Time Use
When you first receive your Impact it will be hibernating, and will display no charging light. Make sure you charge your new Impact for 1 hour before turning it on for the first time.
