How do I set up the Quell Game Launcher and Impact for the first time?

This takes you through your first key steps—charging your new Impact, creating a Quell account and downloading the Launcher.

Once you have installed the Launcher, open it and log in using your Quell account details. The Launcher will then walk you through the first-time setup. Simply follow the on-screen instructions.

You’ll be guided through:

Creating your first profile. Profile name, age, weight, height, gender, and consent to use your data in our application
Installing Impact drivers. This is so your computer can talk to your Impact
Activating your Impact. Powering on and connecting your Impact for the first time
Connecting your Impact to your Wi-Fi. This is so we can keep your Impact up to date
Updating your Impact. Downloading and installing the latest Impact update. This step may take a few minutes

With the setup complete, your Impact is ready for your first session in Shardfall. Download it on the next screen, then hit “Launch Shardfall” to jump in.

Please note that you must always have your Impact connected to the Launcher to play Shardfall.
