Before using your Impact for the first time, charge it for at least 1 hour by placing all units on the charging dock and connecting it to a USB charger rated 1.5 A or higher. As with other devices, a lower power source like the USB port on a computer will take longer to charge the Impact fully.

Once charged, activating your Impact for the first time is easy—just hold the power button on each unit for 15 seconds, then release it. The light will flash white, then start blinking blue to indicate it is scanning for its dongle for the first time. Once connected, the light will turn solid purple.
