Where is my profile saved? How do I move my profiles to a new machine?Updated 5 months ago

Your profile is saved locally on your computer. If you reinstall the Launcher on the same machine, your profiles will be found automatically when you log in on the associated account.

Moving to a new computer

If you want to move your profile and progress in Shardfall to a new computer, you must copy the files over manually. Close the Launcher on your current computer before copying any data. Install the Launcher on your new machine, but don’t open it yet. 

Once you have copied the data to the new computer, open the Launcher and log in to the account you used to create the profiles to access them and their associated Shardfall saves.

Windows

Open Windows search, enter %localappdata%low\ then hit return. Copy the folder called “Quell” to a safe place. Install the Launcher on your new machine, then replace or merge the new Quell folder with the one you saved before.

Mac

Open Finder and navigate to /Users/USERNAME/Library/Application Support/, replacing “USERNAME” with your Mac account name. Copy the folder “com.Quell.Shardfall” to a safe place. Install the Launcher on your new machine, then replace or merge the new com.Quell.Shardfall folder with the one you saved before.
